Akram Boutros, MD, FACHE
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Akram's bio
Akram Boutros, MD, FACHE, brings over 30 years of executive management experience to the role. A distinguished healthcare executive, Dr. Boutros previously served as the CEO of The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, Ohio, where he was recognized for transformative leadership and innovation. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Downstate Health Sciences University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from St. John’s University. Throughout his career, he has received numerous accolades, including being named one of Modern Healthcare’s Most Influential Clinical Leaders.

Alex Moreno

Alex's bio
The Co-Founder and Chairman of Nexus Bedside, Alex brings over 30 years of experience in launching, developing, and managing healthcare staffing and pharmaceutical services companies.
With a strong background in both business and engineering, he holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida. His career reflects a consistent focus on innovation and growth within the healthcare industry.

Miguel Zubizarreta
Chief Technology Officer
Miguel's bio
Miguel Zubizarreta brings over 40 years of information technology experience to his role as Chief Technology Officer. He is the co-founder of Hyland Software and served as the principal architect and developer of the OnBase Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution. Under his leadership, Hyland grew to become the second-largest independent ECM software vendor, serving more than 15,000 customers worldwide. Miguel holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.

Kevin Pate is the Chief Financial Officer with more than 25 years of executive financial experience, including over a decade in healthcare staffing. His deep expertise in financial strategy and operational leadership supports the company’s sustained growth and fiscal health.
Kevin holds a Master of Accounting (MAC) from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Delta State University.

N. Ryan Dedinsky, RN
Vice President, Nursing Operations
Ryan's bio
Ryan Dedinsky, RN, serves as Vice President of Nursing Operations, bringing diverse hands-on experience in orthopedics, medical-surgical care, and oncology. He has successfully managed multi-site outpatient cancer centers and has played a key role in developing and enhancing staffing efficiency models. A dedicated healthcare professional, Ryan is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Akron.

Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Bob's bio
Bob Marello brings 35 years of IT and marketing management experience to his role as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. A former IBM sales and marketing executive, Bob has also led operations within healthcare staffing businesses. His strategic leadership helps drive brand growth and market presence. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Barry University.

Nancy Helenek, MBA, MSN, RN, CCM, FABC

Nancy's bio
Nancy Helenek, MBA, MSN, RN, CCM, FABC is an accomplished health care executive with over 30 years’ experience. Nancy previously served as Director of Operations for Mount Sinai at Home, a joint venture with Amedisys/Contessa Health. During her 23-year tenure at Mount Sinai South Nassau, Nancy managed the administrative, clinical and financial operations of the hospital’s award-winning certified home health agency. She led the home care program to profitability through brand revitalization that included redesigns in strategy, operations, marketing, communications, and quality metrics. Nancy is a registered nurse and certified case manager. She earned a master’s degree in Business Administration and Nursing Administration from Adelphi University and is a fellow of the Advisory Board Company. Nancy served on the Board of Directors of the Home Care Association of New York State and Home Care Association Education & Research Board, and was President-elect of the American Case Management Association, New York Chapter.

Karim Botros is the Managing Partner at Echo Health Ventures, bringing over 15 years of venture capital and private equity experience. He currently serves on the boards of JumpStart, Inc. and MCPc, Inc., as well as Curation Health and Medix Infusion. Additionally, he is a board observer for both Cityblock and Aledade. Prior to his role at Echo, Karim spent more than five years as Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer for MetroHealth. He holds an MBA, a Master of Manufacturing Engineering, and a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering—all from Northwestern University.

Andy Jones is the CEO of Fortress Security Risk Management and a seasoned executive with over two decades of leadership experience. He serves on the Board of Directors for Westfield Bank, MCPc, MetroHealth Foundation, and Team NEO, as well as the Board of Trustees of the Cleveland National Airshow. Andy is also the founder and owner of the Aviators Institute and Modern & Classic Aviation. He previously held executive roles for more than a decade at both MCPc and MTM Technologies. Andy earned both his MA and BA in Communications from Morehead State University.

Melissa Kline, RN, DNP, is a dedicated healthcare leader with over 20 years of experience in healthcare systems. She currently serves as a board member of the Commission on Magnet Recognition and holds the Glick Chair at the Case Western Reserve University School of Nursing. Melissa previously served as Chief Nurse Executive at The MetroHealth System. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Chamberlain University, a Master’s degree in Nurse Leadership and Management from Walden University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Akron.

Akhil Saklecha, MD
Akhil's bio
Akhil is the former Chief Scientific Officer of Acute Care at Danaher, a $24B life sciences and diagnostics company. He previously led venture investing at Cleveland Clinic and was a Managing Director at Artiman Ventures, backing early-stage health and tech startups. A former startup CEO and hospital executive, Dr. Saklecha is Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine and continues to practice part-time at Cleveland Clinic. He serves on the board of Neurotherapia and advises Augment Ventures. He has served on national committees in emergency medicine, quality, and EMS. Dr. Saklecha earned his B.S./M.D. from NEOMED and MBA from the University of Tennessee.

Before co-founding SHINKEI, he served as Global CEO of Jubilant Pharma, where he oversaw diverse international operations. He previously held leadership roles as President of Sun Pharmaceuticals, US, and CEO of Caraco Pharma, driving significant growth in the U.S. market. GP is known for establishing high-performing commercial, manufacturing, and R&D organizations, and leading them through both organic and inorganic growth strategies.

A member of the Forbes Technology Council, Narinder has been named to the New York Times and San Francisco Business Times’ 40 under 40 lists. He holds a BS from Northwestern, an MBA from Wharton, and an MS in Translational Medicine from UCSF and UC Berkeley.

Jonathan Ward is the President of HWL, a Jackson Healthcare Company, and a veteran in the healthcare staffing industry with over 30 years of experience. He previously held executive roles for more than two decades at Cross Country Healthcare and served as an assistant to the Chairman of W. R. Grace & Company, a Fortune 100 specialty chemical company. Jonathan holds a Master’s in Management from Rutgers University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Drew University.
