Akram's bio
Akram brings over 30 years of executive management experience to the role. A distinguished healthcare executive, Dr. Boutros previously served as the CEO of The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, Ohio, where he was recognized for transformative leadership and innovation. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Downstate Health Sciences University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from St. John’s University. Throughout his career, he has received numerous accolades, including being named one of Modern Healthcare’s Most Influential Clinical Leaders.

With a strong background in both business and engineering, he holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida. His career reflects a consistent focus on innovation and growth within the healthcare industry.

Tess Boutros serves as Vice President of Operations & Culture at Nexus Bedside, where she has been part of the team since the company’s inception. She leads initiatives that blend operational excellence with a strong, people-first culture, drawing on her experience supporting C-suite executives and a proven background in brand management and marketing strategy.
A graduate of The Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center, Tess specializes in world-class service and leadership practices. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from LIM College.

Ryan's bio
Ryan serves as Vice President of Nursing Operations, bringing diverse hands-on experience in orthopedics, medical-surgical care, and oncology. He has successfully managed multi-site outpatient cancer centers and has played a key role in developing and enhancing staffing efficiency models. A dedicated healthcare professional, Ryan is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Akron.

Kayden is the Client Success Partner for Nexus Bedside at OU Health, where she bridges clinical expertise with innovative virtual nursing solutions. With a background in patient experience operations and critical care nursing, she leverages her leadership and data-driven approach to improve outcomes for patients, nurses, and health systems. Kayden earned her Doctor and Master of Healthcare Administration from Oklahoma State University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oklahoma Christian University

Kevin Pate is the Chief Financial Officer with more than 25 years of executive financial experience, including over a decade in healthcare staffing. His deep expertise in financial strategy and operational leadership supports the company’s sustained growth and fiscal health.
Kevin holds a Master of Accounting (MAC) from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Delta State University.

Karim's bio
Karim Botros is the Managing Director at Abundant Health Ventures, bringing over 15 years of venture capital and private equity experience. He currently serves on the boards of JumpStart, Inc. and MCPc, Inc., as well as Curation Health and Medix Infusion. Additionally, he is a board observer for both Cityblock and Aledade. Prior to his role at Echo, Karim spent more than five years as Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer for MetroHealth. He holds an MBA, a Master of Manufacturing Engineering, and a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering—all from Northwestern University.

Melissa Kline, RN, DNP, is a dedicated healthcare leader with over 20 years of experience in healthcare systems. She currently serves as a board member of the Commission on Magnet Recognition and holds the Glick Chair at the Case Western Reserve University School of Nursing. Melissa previously served as Chief Nurse Executive at The MetroHealth System. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Chamberlain University, a Master’s degree in Nurse Leadership and Management from Walden University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Akron.

Narinder Singh is the Co-Founder and CEO of LookDeep Health, and a seasoned entrepreneur recognized for his impact in the tech and healthcare sectors. He co-founded Appirio, a leading cloud computing company acquired by Wipro in 2016, and has held leadership roles at SAP and webMethods. A member of the Forbes Technology Council, Narinder has been named to the New York Times and San Francisco Business Times’ 40 under 40 lists. Jonathan Ward is the President of HWL, a Jackson Healthcare Company, and a veteran in the healthcare staffing industry with over 30 years of experience. He previously held executive roles for more than two decades at Cross Country Healthcare and served as an assistant to the Chairman of W. R. Grace & Company, a Fortune 100 specialty chemical company. Jonathan holds a Master’s in Management from Rutgers University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Drew University.
Miguel Zubizarreta

Miguel's bio
Miguel Zubizarreta brings over 40 years of information technology experience to his role as Chief Technology Officer. He is the co-founder of Hyland Software and served as the principal architect and developer of the OnBase Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution. Under his leadership, Hyland grew to become the second-largest independent ECM software vendor, serving more than 15,000 customers worldwide. Miguel holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
